"Large farm on the edge of Nienburg Weser. A warm welcome and fresh kitchen. The Carbonara was well done. Only they wore me. Unfortunately, you can't pay a tip with a card, that's a pity!"

"Lange Zeit waren wir nicht mehr im Al Porto. Im Restaurant ist es nach wie vor sehr eng - wenn der Herr am Nachbartisch nicht ein ganzes Stück nach vorne gerückt wäre, hätte ich nicht sitzen können. Die Speisekarte enthielt alles, was zu einem Italiener gehört. Ich entschied mich für die frische Pasta in Tomaten-Tunfischsoße: leider waren die Nudeln etwas zu al dente, die Soße leicht wässrig, es schmeckte alles ein bisschen fad. Die Pizza war ok, aber auch hier fehlte ein wenig Würze. Der Service war ok."

"We picked this place like many others: close to the harbor and busy looking restaurant. It was the only one which was full, so we took it as a good sign! Pizzas were thin and crusty on edges, with good amount of filling. Taste was...really good and we all wanted to have a bite of all the pizzas we had ordered. Margarita was our winner! Pastas were cooked to perfection: al dente! This happens rarely, even in well known Italian restaurants... Gambas in tomato sauce was very tasty, and they weren't chewy (another plus point). Chicken pasta was good as well, although I would've preferred tomato based sauce over the cream sauce they had available. Nonetheless, very tasty! Crime brûlée was alright, it clearly didn't reach the same level as the main courses. But the tiramisu was loved by the children, mainly due to the fact that the cookies weren't that heavily soaked in espresso (which is my personal preference). All in all, very good Italian food in somewhat touristic Northern German city definitely worth a visit!"
