"Visited this restaurant for the first time in 8 years yesterday for lunch. My mother’s apartment is very near and we have visited the area regularly for the last 18 years. We had 3 or 4 disappointing meals at the same restaurant when it was purely a pizzeria... which is why the long hiatus. ...but to be fair... why come to Spain to eat pizza...?! ...but that’s just me...! Yesterday my husband noticed the ‘menu del dia’ at an extremely respectable price of €10.50 per head which included a large and varied centre salad, starters including sopa de ajo and spaghetti carbonara followed by arroz de verduras (vegetable rice... delicious! with alioli, or pork fillets, chips, padron peppers, courgettes and a fried egg, or a smoked salmon dish. Desserts were made in-house including rice pudding, flan de casa, etc, etc, Price included bread and coffee. Drinks are charged separately. The three of us ate a three course meal for a grand total of €39 including drinks. Fast and extremely courteous service, nice surroundings. Couldn’t give them higher praise!"

"This place has potential. The restaurant is beautiful and has a really nice atmosphere, however the food doesn’t live up to this. We ordered the Margherita pizza which was very average, more like a flat bread and definitely not authentic Italian. We were told the basil would be substituted with baby spinach due to no availability… hard to believe. I’m certain the cheese was not bocconcini like the menu says, it appeared and tasted like regular grated cheese. Quite disappointing overall. Nice woman who served us though"

"We had very much been looking forward to visiting A group of 10 of us) but unfortunately the three lasagnes that were ordered were all cold in the middle! They were reheated in the microwave I guess) and bought back out to us. The waitress didnt know whos was whos so just gave us any one each even tho we had started them! There was no apology or token offer. Having said that my husband had seafood spaghetti which was delicious."
