"Lourdes isn't a one hit wonder. They make fantastic chicken soup with chunks of chicken and the rice is done right. If you add the red salsa it takes that soup from a 10 to an 11 the salsa compliments the broth perfectly. Their California burrito is the perfect size with the right amount of meat to tortilla ratio where every bite has something good in it down to the last. Go with the green salsa for the burrito and you won't regret it. Great spot."

"They have the absolute best Mexican food in Escondido!!! There's a couple of restaurants here and they are top of my list. My favorite meal there is the Carne Asada supreme quesadilla, they have quacamole, sour cream, beans, cheese, and what ever meat of your choice chicken, beef, or Carne asada). Their meat taste fresh and not salty like most Mexican restaurants. Their California burritos and Carne asada fries are awesome. They taste amazing and have fresh tasting vegetables too. Their fries are a little crisper than most so you won't get soggy watery fries with no taste. I was depressed that they weren't open on 4th of July : I'm so depressed about it that tomorrow morning I'm going to have to get two orders of burritos to fulfill my need. I give this place 5+ stars."

"This is a small shop in front of restaurant. The way the stands seem at home. They do a bang up business and many of their customers seem to be decent by latin. I take this as a sign that the food is the real Mexican thing. Prices are very reasonable and average about $6.50 for a full meal. The majority of companies seem to take, but about 20 people can sit. Service is always prompt and sanitary seems good..."

"Well is usually quite good here, but too often my order is either incorrectly taken or the received service is pretty bad. I ordered a phone today and picked it up and brought home. When they opened, they made the order wrong again, so I called back to the store. The person I spoke to told me? I'll take my name and my number and the next time I come in? ll give me a free burrito, no offer or intention to correct the original error at all. I feel like me? ve was quite patient with this restaurant in the last few years, but at this point I will not visit."
