"Visited for lunch 6/12/19. Finally, I made the trip to try out one of only two Michelin star restaurants in Orange County. A taco shop, no less. Of course I had high expectations. When I entered, I immediately knew I would eat on the terrace. It was a warm day and the fire in the cooking station left the room stifling. I had the Caesar salad that was good, crunchy cool salad in a lemony Caesar dress. The iced tea was also great with lots of ice cream as I like it. Then I went on to the net, a pork cheek taco and a peace fish taco. I am in the fish taco and the fish was crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside as it should be. The cabbage was fresh, and the citrus added a beautiful refreshing bite. But what is that? A taste of something burned. It could not be the fish; it was a beautiful golden color, but the taste was there. It seemed like it had been boiled in oil, where something had been burned before. Oh, disappointment. So I went on to the pork taco. The pig was also nicely crisp on the outside and delicate on the inside and the green salsa was also good. Unfortunately the salsa was so overwhelming, it completely masked the taste of the pig (the star of this show). Argh, disappointment. I will now discuss the blue corstortillas used for both tacos. I love Maistortillas. At least I love good corstortillas. But when I entered this, it was like I fed into a medium density foam rubber. They were rubber! Argh, disappointment. Finally, during the meal I asked for a refreshment on tea. Because of all the ice it went fast. I was informed that there are no refills and I would have to get another at full cost. That was $8.00 for probably 6 to 8 ounces of tea. Argh, robbery."
