"Went here as a special trip in memory of our mum who loved this place and passed away recently. In the cafe we had a great selection of cakes but the service was at best lukewarm. No effort to engage with us and a table opposite us of friends/family www of far more interest. It was even worse in the shop which was busy. The assistant who served me was called back by a previous customer who felt his order was incorrect. A lengthy conversation ensued until he finally asked a colleague to continue serving me. She then started a conversation with a colleague and left me again standing at the counter. I walked out without any chocolate. A sour taste from a special visit."
