"It was perfect really and worth a short cab or tram ride for a nice neighbourhood restaurant vibe. I went to their old location near the pantheon which specialises in platters, now they have space to do a bit more and for you to spend a few hours for dinner. Nice decorations from the old Argentinian restaurant it used to be. English spoken very well by friendly team perfect!"

"Nettare DiVino is Trieste best kept secret or better it is not a secret for the locals that enjoy the delicious food and genuine wine of this enoteca on a regular basis! Just a stone throw from unique gem Piazza Unita’ d’Italia, Nettare DiVino gifts you with an experience that will make you hour or two hours there so memorable to last for ages. The environment is lovely and conducive to a lovely conversation and a pleasant cooling down after a busy day! We had an impeccable beef tartar with warm bread and butter as starter. The restaurateur made us taste nice local olive oil and chilly oil with that! It was a shame to skip pasta but we had already large breakfast and lunch so we had to be sensible. As main course we had respectively chicken and pork “stinco” with grilled vegetables and potatoes cooked the traditional local way with onions and lardon. The boneless chicken was so tasty! The pork was world class! Every plate was accompanied with excellent glasses of wine, mainly locals. We left the host advising us and we don’t regret that at all!! There was an excellent choice of desserts but as I said we had already indulged during the day so we moved into “grappa”. We had one dry white grappa and one white “acquavite ” very distinctive! We had a bill so honest value for money really that we promised ourselves to catch a plane and come back soon!!"
