"Located at the sea front in the city of Almería, this café is easy to find and is a nice environment for eating alfresco. The service was attentive. Everything, including the toilet, was pretty clean. I stopped in for lunch with my family and was recommended by the waiter to select a ‘special’ that was off-menu, which we did. My wife and I had a Turbot between the two of us. The fish was simply prepared: cleaved into pieces and fried. All the food was nice. When we got the bill the Turbot was €60! The waiter had worked from his notebook and no prices were indicated. As nothing on the menu was of this order of magnitude, it did not occur to us to ask the price. For example, my beer was only €2.50. As I do not speak Spanish, I was not in a position to challenge the bill. I have never written a negative review before, but I think this example of sharp practice speaks for itself. I believe they took advantage of me as a passing tourist."
