"We have been to this restaurant before and it was great then and is still great, I absolutely love their ceaser salad, they make it at your table and the dressing is the best I have ever tasted, the service was perfect, our waiter was extremely attentive , we were not rushed at all, our table was booked for 7 and we were sat down straight away and we did not leave until nearly 10, it is a little pricey but so worth it for a special occasion."

"My wife and I popped in mid afternoon for a bite to eat. There was hardly anyone there as it was 3pm on a Thursday and we sat at the bar talking to the bartender CJ. He picked out a great beer for me to...try and encouraged us to share some dishes from the “shareables” menu. We ordered the octopus, Waygu meatball, fried Brussel spouts, the burger and a carne pizza (don’t judge). Everything was really good. The burger was good but not as good as everything else, it could have been juicier. The octopus was very tender but could have been charred more for my liking but still very good. The meatball was as good as you could hope for. The tomato sauce tasted like a nonna made it, legit Italian. The fried brussel sprouts were a show stopper, super rich and many different textures. The pizza was also very good, nice crust. Thin and crispy but with the right amount of chew. All in all I would go back and try other items. The fried chicken platter we saw going by looked amazing. This place is great to go for a drink (150 different beers) with a casual menu but at not so causal spin."

"Update: since the new owners took over and revamped the restaurant and menu, the once highly respected restaurant is not the same as when Nicky managed the restaurant. The new management team needs to do a better job servicing guests especially when we made reservations asking for a certain table. (They blindly gave it away after we have confirmed twice over the phone) . The servers continues to be fantastic dispute of new management. The new menu no longer has the beloved Nicky's cheesecake, no more specials, over priced and portion sizes are half of what they used to be. However, hats off to the chef for the great food! Everything tasted really delicious."
