"Six ain’t Seven really is the new hidden gem in North Parra... it’s such a cute and trendy cafe! The vibe is incredible, atmosphere is pumping while still feeling really homely and comfortable. The service is great, every single staff member is SUPER friendly and we got our food quickly and all at the same time which is super important to me. The lovely owner Karl is there making sure everyone’s happy and everything’s on a roll. The menus are incredible I wish I remembered to take a photo, they look so beautiful and every dish is so appealing, we wanted to order it all. We ordered the omelette (leb style), leb san choy bow, acai bowl, granola, samkeh harra (spicy fish) and I have to say the food was pretty much perfection. Every dish blew us away with its presentation and depth in flavour. I can’t pick a favourite, but if I had to I’d say the omelette is incredible and the granola with yoghurt was a sweet but light treat. We got a few coffees after which were all great, but the dirty chai is a must try. Was overall super impressed with this cafe and I’m so excited to try everything else on the menu. 100% recommend, it’s really got something for everyone. "We organised a 55th Birthday surprise for Mike for the 26th September with 18 close friends. The restaurant table looked incredible, and the ambience was relaxed and classy. Rishi was so helpful with the planning, he went out of his way to accomodate all of my requirements. Also the restaurant provided wonderful service and food on the night, the waiter was so courteous and served the table with a smile, certainly a trait not found in every venue! Our guests raved about the food and many of them are locals and have a good idea of what works in Avalon, most of them had already been to dine at the restaurant and all will be back! I can't thank you enough for the hospitality, friendly service and beautiful food! See you soon :"

"Lovely little Japanese restaurant in Rhodes central. Does get very busy so would recommend booking a few days in advance, or be prepared to wait for walk in. Highlights were the i) teriyaki chicken in the oyakodon. Juicy chicken thigh, the skin was crispy and tasted almost caramelised! ii) sushi rolls. Huge rolls packed with an assortment of fillings, great value for money. Karaage chicken was a little on the dry side. Chawanmushi was very average, and apparently contained foie gras and mushroom which were barely detectable."

"This is based on lovely Salmon rolls and shared Samon Sushi Sashimi.<br/ <br/ Walked around restaurant near Mascot station for dinner. This restaurant was the most decent numbers of customers have seated inside and decided to try on Wed night.<br/ <br/ All beautiful Salmon sushi and sashimi were thick and big. I would say they are getting beautiful fresh salmon from fish market. Whoo Yammy.<br/ <br/ Cutomer service is excellent. They welcomed us by opening the door and very attentive. Staff are warm and so nice that we enjoyed chatting didn't notice we stayed pass closing time!<br/ <br/"

"Osteria Coogee is the new kid on the block in Coogee, just opened in May. Off the main drag, it still has a coastal vibe to the restaurant and you feel like you are eating by the sea. <br/ <br/ Director (and a chef in his own right) Regan Porteous’ menu is good, unpretentious seasonal Italian food with a heavy focus on seafood. It’s food that you would have with an Italian family at home on a Sunday for a leisurely long lunch. <br/ <br/ As there were five of us we opted for the $75 Mangiamo set menu and we enjoyed each and every dish. The standout, however, for me was the gnocchi with porcini mushrooms and truffle (pictured) as well as the raw kingfish with black garlic purée which swam in a sea of olive oil, parsley and lemon (pictured). The set menu was generous and definitely good value for money. <br/ <br/ Although the staff were friendly and lovely, they were a bit slow on the day and this was the only disappointment. #osteriacoogee"
