"A mixture of carpaccio to start, cod fillet and beef steak for mains along with a delicious shared dessert, recommended wine and patient service given our basic French, I can't recommend this restaurant more highly. The food was without fault. It's also unpretentious and has a real warmth to it, which we picked up just walking past, but fully booked for the night on enquiry... and the following night. We fortunately had a third night option and enjoyed the best meal of our holiday. Very worth planning for and booking ahead. Thank you - we'll remember this meal for a long time."

"We made an online reservation some days before we came and received a written confirmation but when we arrived our name couldn't be found on their list and we were told in quite an unfriendly way that the restaurant did not accept online reservations. Unfortunately we left our ipad which could have proved that they were wrong in the hotel. Condescendingly we were given a table there were two more which were not reserved... , took it because we were hungy, but felt uneasy the whole evening. The two young waitresses did everything to corroberate the image of French arrogance, the owner herself later became a bit friendlier. The food was ok, but that was relatively unimportant. Not again! But perhaps they will think about their reservation policy..."
