"The old Vogtei, a beautiful historically shaped brick building ensemble, houses the nested southernly guided restaurant Fish Sea . The most prestigious hiker at this hotspot, if he could ever get one of the rare parking spaces, is all the more ready to stop this offer, which in particular also Scandinavian visit to pizza always promises... The ambience is historically playful, lovingly decorated, clean and worth a visit; Staff open, very friendly and appealing. Classic North German fish dishes were our goal after a recommendation and pre-order; You will not find overpriced in good selection as well as international mainstream. Binding reception and placement in the clearly visited restaurant no season and cold outside therefore we also found a parking... The drinks were taken up and at the table: King Pilsener 0,3l 3,80 , 0.4l 4,50 , well maintained wines Grauburgunder, Merlot 6,90/0,2l, 0,75l S.Pellegrino 6,90 and spirits at 3, €/2cl. We ordered: Carpaccio 12,90 € thin cut beef fillet with parmesan. Ostsee Scholle total 19,90 € fried with potato salad on request: homemade and salad supplement. Ostsee Scholle „Finkenwerder Art“ total 22,90 € fried with bacon cubes, potato salad and salad additive. Dorschfilet 22,90 € fried with salt potatoes, dijon mustard sauce and salad dressing. In Finkenwerder and a cable fillet, it was no problem to change the addition to roast potatoes without additional costs. Amuse, bread etc. did not exist. The Carpaccio under Rucola was made with lemon carving, cherry tomato and 3 baguette slices after a few minutes. Harmoniously tasteful with Balsamico and spicy Parmesan rasps quite well suited and tasty. The thin fillet mirror legs placed absolutely symmetrically circular, in the middle a little frosty, but delicate, fresh and not tasteless. Good convenience is available everywhere! The break to the main courses was felt a bit too long, especially as we were served more later tables. The fish came classically decorated as dishes, although a little unloved. Salad dressing somewhat natural, partly finished marinated, but delicious. Salt potatoes i.O., roast potatoes a little rough, but good and the potato salad probably did not do something clear and nothing special. But it comes to the fish: They should be medium size, fleshy, well roasted, slightly crispy and still juicy, carefully seasoned, but very neat. Fresh and attractive! The slightly brighter, only tenderly roasted cod, because the ban on fishing could have been a bit crispy, but was seasoned by and more harmoniously. Very satisfying accompanied by a well made, smooth dijon mustard sauce with slightly acidic sharpness. So well saturated with the right food quality. But it went or goes a bit more or Sea after the restaurant name... Overall impression nevertheless positive, because suitable for mass, friendly, binding, visually appealing and affordable!"

"It seems very common that most Italian restaurants use the same masterprint on their menus, because they are all too interchangeable with the same pasta, pizza and antipasti arsenal. Located right on the Trave in Travemünde, however, in September 2018, the Casa Grande had given me the hope to be able to enjoy the Mediterranean cuisine in a variety of forms. The restaurant extending over several levels of its own modern villa can really be called a giant compared to many rather small Trattoria. The full glazing results in a beautiful natural illumination at day. On the ground floor there is also a free seat. Inside the restaurant is furnished with modern furniture and numerous wine bottle shelves are nicely decorated. A “original Italian” flair may seem to be less likely to come up, for which the hip-hop music in the background did not exactly contribute, but it is easy to eat here anyway. The regular menu is, of course, based on the well-known and usual Italian offer in Germany. But as mentioned, the special card of the recommendation of the House was an interesting addition to me. From this I wanted to try the scallops on Red-Bete-Carpaccio with truffle foam. Scallops on Red-Bete-Carpaccio with truffle foam The scallops were really very small specimens. Even in the retail sector, you get more powerful TK goods. In their preparation, however, with beautiful roasted aromas and still glazed core, nothing was great to mecker. The truffle foam was probably prepared with truffle oil. Although it actually corresponded to a foam from its consistency, it had a clearly perceptible truffle aroma missing for my taste. Also at the Red Bete Carpaccio I would have liked a somewhat more intense typical earthy taste of this vegetables. To this end, some ciabatta was sufficient, which was admittedly already very solid and slightly dry. €14.9 are a house number for such an appetizer portion and must also be justified in view of the very clear portion size with really high product quality and taste. This was not exactly the case in my eyes here. The staff of the service acted professionally, although somewhat distant for my feeling. A little more cordiality and open-mindedness, as the Italians actually know, would have been desirable. In my eyes, the Casa Grande does not really differ qualitatively from the standard Italians mentioned at the beginning. Above all, the location and the ambience appear to be added to the prices."
