"Also erst mal zu lokation ein sehr kleiner Restaurant mit wirklichen Platzmangel selbst in dem Pavillon ,man sitzt wirklich wie eine Presswurst zusammen .dann wartet man sehr sehr lange auf sein Essen selbst bei einem lächerlich antipasti hat man eine warte Zeit von einer Dreiviertel Stunde ne halbe Stunde für die Getränke die Bedienung ist nur ein älterer herr der nur Speerlich hinterher kommt .ich habe das schon für eine Frechheit empfunden so eine warte zeit dann kann das Essen noch so gut sein .ich bin selbst Italiener und finde es echt sch..... Die Leute so abzufertigen .fazit das was für mich das erste und letzte mal und das Essen an sich ist auch ok gewesen aber nicht so berauschend das man sagen könnte das die warte zeit das berichtigt"

"Was a bit disappointed with the quality of the food at this Vapiano. The concept at Vapiano's is great and the variety offered is always good (as is the ambiance and decor). The service was fine but unfortunately the quality of the food was not...right. I ordered a salad and Carbonara pasta. The salad was fresh but is was drowned in dressing and the spaghetti had all the right ingredients although something went wrong with the execution which resulted in a big glob' of spaghetti with Carbonara source all suck together. I admit that I was so hungry that I ate it anyways but I advise to watch for preparation mistakes or bad outcome if you visit there."

"I know this restaurant since the time i lived in Mannheim. Then it was vibrant and lively place with good food, good value, and excellent service. I came again after nearly 3 years to be completely dissapointed. When we arrived the table we haev reserved...was given to someone else. We had to wait nearly 20 min until a table become available and another 10 min for someone to take our order. After nearly an hour from the time we arrived we got out food. No appologies, and no effort whatsoever to compensate for the delay and the poor treatment. The food is okay but pricey overal not worth it. It's with sadness in my heart that I decided to not come here. I would opt instead for one of the other Italian options like DaVino where i can have better and more personalized service, tasty food, and great value for money. Sorry."

"The Geiger Salber Restaurant is located in the centre of Mannheim, centrally located, but somewhat hidden and therefore very quiet. We had the five-course menu with the addition of savory fish. Beautiful backyard with various herbal plants as a natural decoration for the eyes and soul. Ideal for summer evenings sitting outside and chilling. The food was good for eyes, for palates and for the soul. The condition was friendly, but not intrusive. The Riesling of Pfalz was also very good, tastefully comparable to the Riesling from Rheingau. For white wine drinkers was a pleasure. The ambience was romatic, simple and beautiful. A beautiful summer evening I spent here and Geiger Salber is a hiking tip for all palate friends and deserves 5 stars from me...."

"Der Mannheimer Stadtteil Lindenhof besitzt noch ein super Stadtteilleben mit kleinen Geschäften und Restaurants, die jedoch oft unscheinbar sind. Das Restaurant Roma ist auch so eine "Perle", die entdeckt werden möchte. In diesen Räumen war sicherlich früher mal ein Ladengeschäft, auf jeden Fall wurden diese Räumlichkeiten nicht als Gastronomie geplant. Man kommt rein und hat erst mal den Eindruck, in einer Betriebskantine zu sein. Erst auf den zweiten Blick merkt man, mit welchen Details man diese ungünstigen Räume in ein sehr angenehmes Ambiente verwandelt hat.Mittwoch 18:30 Uhr war es schon gut gefüllt, gut dass wir zur Sicherheit reserviert hatten, wie auch fast alle Gäste, die nach uns kamen.Die Speisekarte ist nicht überdimensioniert und dennoch reichhaltig. Klasse steht hier eindeutig vor Masse. Highlight ist sicherlich die Fischauswahl. Diese bekommt man bereits roh und frisch präsentiert, so dass man sich seinen Fisch aussuchen kann. Auch die abschließende Zubereitung erfolgt am Tisch. Trotz dieser Versuchung habe ich erst mal zur klassischen Pizza gegriffen, meine Begleitung wählte ein Rumpsteak. Alles, was wir auf dem Tisch hatten, war extrem schmackhaft und lecker. Die Portionen sind dabei jedoch nicht überladen, auch hier gilt mehr die Qualität.Pizzen und Paste bewegen sich in einen noch normalen Preisneveau, für Fisch und Fleisch muss man schon etwas tiefer in die Tasche greifen, was sich jedoch durchaus lohnt.Man darf sich nicht von der Architektur abschrecken lassen, diese ist nun mal so wie sie ist. Einfach rein gehen und entspannen, dann merkt man, wie gut und angenehm es hier ist. Eine Reservierung sollte man sicherheitshalber machen. Ich kann nur sagen, ich war begeistert und mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte Mal hier. Ein Besuch lohnt sich sicherlich, viel zu verlieren hat man ja nicht."
