"Our hostess, servers and food were wonderful. We met half way (we drive up from San Diego and our party met us in Newport Beach from Los Angeles) what a great spot. The food was not greasy and very flavorful."

"Beautiful ambience, seated quickly. Appetizers were good. They do NOT have a full bar. Drinks were less alcohol more sweet. Very busy at 530pm on a Friday. Nice server. Entrees ok. Rigatoni not very flavorful and needed more meat sauce. I would go again but maybe only for Appetizers and salads."

"I was sitting here for a birthday dinner. Service was great and we sat pretty fast. But I'll say the sushi was just fine. I could say the quality was good, but the flavor combinations of the reels just didn't work. With the exception of a role we had, the taste of an element seemed to exaggerate the rest. I wanted to enjoy all the elements of sushi, but still only try coconut for example. It was sushi that tried too hard. Great location and views."

"That was outdoors the weekend. The whole staff was wonderful. We were the only table outside, but they were still attentive and friendly. It was quiet outside, but the atmosphere was alive. We had the prefixe menu, which was 5 courses including dessert. From today's experience, I would say that their seafood has been presented better than their red meat. Most dishes were fine. The first course was kampachi crudo, which was good. The second course was the caviar egg, which was my favorite because of the ointments from the caviar and the cream of the egg went very well with the acid out of the liquor. The third course lobster was a little chewing, the emptying was soft and fluffy but dense. The red meat course was calf 3 ways. I couldn't finish it and that says a lot. The veal was hard, the cheek tasted muddy and only not a very tasty dish and in the middle of it there was a large pile of raw garlic that ruined the palate. Luckily the meal ended with a sweet note, baba au rum. I think Baba was the cake part I thought was a little dense and heavy, but what baba came with the passion fruit and mango cream were delicious. I wanted to love the restaurant and was looking forward to being worn by her food, but today's food was not impressed. Although the food was well presented and each component was prepared mentally, I did not feel like a fine culinary experience, or even a high-end restaurant experience, because most dishes were not special. I enjoyed outing and the staff was very good. Maybe we would have tried a La Carte instead of the prefix, maybe next time."
