"After a year we had not found a parking lot at all and many tables were occupied in the store, today the empty place in the restaurant surprised us. We were the only guests. Noodles and gnocchi were good, the service-friendly, but the clothes of the service would have tolerated a washing cycle. The appetizers in the showcase no longer seemed to be as lush as before, but maybe we remember it wrong. We are already wondering why there is so little going on after the operators have changed and watched."

"Das Haus liegt im Ortsteil Stommeln von Pulheim direkt an der Hauptstraße und hat als eines der wenigen Lokale auch montags geöffnet. Die Ausstattung ist innen gemütlich und die Bedienung sehr freundlich und flott. Montags ist "Schnitzeltag" und donnerstags gibt es laut Karte Reibekuchen. Ansonsten weist die Karte eine deutsche Küche aus mit einer ausreichenden Auswahl für jeden Geschmack. Die Portionen sind relativ groß und preiswert. Jedoch kann man auf Wunsch auch kleinere Portionen erhalten.Bei unserer Besprechung wollten wir draußen sitzen. Das Lokal besitzt zwar wohl auch einen Biergarten nach hinten raus, jedoch war dieser geschlossen. Vor dem Lokal stehen zwar auch Tische und Bänke (normale Garnituren), die jedoch nicht sehr bequem sind. Auch ist der Lärm direkt an der Hauptstraße relativ laut und störend."

"I was here really in doubt whether very good or satisfying. This restaurant is run by a team that runs its restaurant in a very loose way. So alla Lichter years ago in his Oldithek. It's not everyone's business. I like it because I were on the go with business friends and thank you for a change. For food: From the small map we chose goat cheese on salad, carpaccio of salmon and I had Vitello Tonnato which was very good. The calf spoke had a pleasant spice. The salmon carpaccio had 3 people. Everyone said it was very tasty but the portion was clearly too small. But all are of the opinion that this was probably due to the fact that too many of this court wanted to have and the salmon was then too small. All main courses were rated positively. The Flangsteak was especially praised. My fish could have been minimally glazed but this is criticism of high Nivau. Also a problem owed to a 6 table. Dessert was great. I couldn't check the wine selection as I decided to take a Lugana from Ca del Fratti and it always fits. Because of the good kitchen quite clearly the given rating. As a writer has written in advance, there is not a handcash and hosting document on the same evening. I made a business card and got the bill remorse. Unfortunately only on demand and after 5 days. Here I recommend to the owner to do this the next day. The German is now typical of German. "Gestern mittag waren wir mal wieder mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs und so beschlossen wir, eine Kleinigkeit zu essen im Restaurant Velderhof.Nachdem ich bei meiner letzten Bewertung noch den schleppenden Service und die langen Wartezeiten bemängelt hatte, war das gestern um Klassen besser.Wir hatten einen schönen Tisch auf der Terasse gewählt, und entschieden uns für das "Wochen-Special"Es handelte sich hierbei um ein köstliches Carpaccio mit Salat, Pfifferlingen und Knödeln. Das war eine wirklich interessant Zusammenstellung und schmeckte ganz vorzüglich.Es waren, wahrscheinlich aufgrund des schönen Wetters, reichlich Servicekräfte dort, die Küche war wohl auch auf Draht, und so war alles wirklich wie es sein soll, Wartezeiten nicht zu lang, aber auch nicht zu kurz, das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und der Wein ( Chardonnay ) auch sehr schön gekühlt.Fazit: Alles schön und wir waren mehr als zufrieden.Kommen gerne wieder.bdzons"
