"Overall 4.5 out of 5! We absolutely loved our time here. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I'm not going to lie it is definitely pricey but certain dishes were worth it! Our favourite dish was the flaming no1 special and the Hokkaido horenso scallops.<br/>The panacotta was silky smooth and the green tea creme brulee was subtle and beautiful! You could slightly taste the lighter fluid on top though. Would definitly come back"

"I bought a CUDO deal for $49 for 2 people. It included 2 x glass of wine/ beer , to share: endamame, chicken karage, tofu and seaweed and avocado salad, tempura prawn crunch roll and miso soup. Then 1 x main each whuch couldve been...chicken/ salmon teriyaki, wagyu beef udon, assorted tempura. The value was exceptional. The food was so yummy and the location and atmosphere placed you in the middle of Darling Quarter. I will definitely return here. The staff were also helpful and very friendly and polite."

"Food is average quality Italian, service is slow (we waited almost an hour for our entree to arrive), and when the bill came it was over by $133! Took quite a bit of discussion to sort out and have the drinks that had been double charged taken off. Expensive for the quality of food and overall experience. We won’t be back"

"I booked a weekend high tea for family lunch but my expectation was quite low after reading some mediocre reviews on Tripadvisor. The main complaint from Tripadvisor was the unprofessional and incompetent service that didn’t match star rating of the hotel. Much to my relief, it turned out to be a delightful lunch whereby all four of us enjoyed ourselves and left satisfied. <br>

As soon as we were ushered to our table by the window overlooking Market Street and State Theatre, they served water and took our drink orders straightaway. There was no delay or difficulty getting staff attention as some people described on Tripadvisor. Throughout the lunch our water glasses were often topped up and there was always staff nearby to take orders of tea or alcoholic drinks swiftly. "My friend and I came here for her birthday and we were not disappointed. Yes, it's pricey, but the food is very delicious. The Korean/Japanese influence is obvious, and the taste is yum, yum, yum! From the Matcha fries, to the Poke Salmon salad, to the one-off dessert we ended our feast with (celebrating VIVID festival in Sydney), we were completely satisfied and happy with all dishes. Service was great, and the booking process was perfect. I will be back!"
