"Great service of emma. that had to be checked as this young lady had been abused by the customer behind us who waited in the line to sit. she remained very quiet and professional, but it did not deserve to be spoken as he was waiting for. a word rude zustänger.! great hot eating and fast service this young lady is a good thing for msrks and spencers."

"Frequent visitor to this cafe whether for a snack or a light meal. Always nicely prepared and served, and a chance to sample some M food. Although a busy, popular cafe it is usually possible to find a table. Sometimes, however, some food has been sold out, which can be disappointing. Overall generally a good place to eat and drink, drinks made fresh and usually a little biscuit accompanies."

"The menu is good with some imaginative eating. we went to the day when it was pretty busy and had to wait. the waiting queue moved quite fast and we sat soon. our table was more spacious than average and everything was largely cleaned between the diners. the staff was excellent, they were helpful, polite and efficient. the quality of the food and presentation was excellent. it was a pleasant lunch at a reasonable price."

"I had not been to the establishment before but went last night to meet a friend for dinner and a catch up after the lockdown period. The evening was nice the food was standard pub food and the atmosphere was ok. Social distancing seems...to be being taken seriously. However, PLEASE NOTE it is apparently company policy that if there is a group of people and drinks are ordered (by any of the group) and someone gets in their car the police will automatically be called and registration given- even if that person has not had any alcohol. We were shocked to find this out when my friend gave me a lift home so that i didn't have to pay for a taxi (i had arrived by taxi knowing i would be having a few drinks). The police had been told my friend had had glasses of wine which was simply untrue. When my friend rang the manager this morning the manager laughed at her down the phone and did not even attempt an apology simply citing the company policy. With already stretched police resources it is a shame a company feels the need to waste police time in this way. It is also very concerning incorrect information was passed to the police regarding my friend consuming alcohol."
