"We drive a 20 minute drive to come purchase some of the best pies and cookies ever. We love this establishment and continue to come patronage because of the service the employees give us every single time we come in. We are always greeted with smiles and hellos. We feel very welcomed here. Even when the place is super busy and people are everywhere we still feel we get served at a timely manner. We highly recommend and encourage everyone to come here and experience the deliciousness of The Butcher Shop in Longview, TX "

"Man was i impressed with the cupcakes I got!! I got the carrot cake one and the sugar free cupcake-both were delicious!! The sugar free one did not taste like sugar free which was a plus!! Sorry I didn't attach a pic of them to this post but presentation was also flawless!!!"

"We had our 10th anniversary on a Saturday I had not even thought about getting a cake or anything until that morning. Golden Flake saved the day! They made a 8 inch round cake decorated it beautifully. I feel I was so lucky to get such an amazing cake at the last minute. The cake was so delicious fresh as well. Thank you Golden Flake!"

"We were so excited to see a Sizzler and couldn't wait to eat there. Paid $10.49 for the Malibu Chicken, I figured it can w a side, nope another $3.50 for a baked potato. Then $8.49 for the salad bar. Put a $3 tip on the recipe and after looking, it says it goes to the manager, not the waitress so we tipped the very nice waitress $8. The chicken was so small! The salad bar was half empty. The hot food like mashed potatoes gravy was so dried out, the pasty was so overcooked it was almost slimy. Most of the desserts were empty or very dried out. The taco bar was dried out and half empty. There was no chicken wings, some other kind of meat was empty. We.pretty much had 2 side salads that cost us $21. Our bill was $57.86 and the food was so disappointing!"
