"Awesome and delicious made from scratch vegan food. They even make their own almond milk. We ordered the smokey tomato sandwich, buddha bagel, orange saffron cake and carrot cake. The tofu on the smokey tomato sandwich was cooked to perfection and the wheat sourdough bread nicely toasted. Everything on the bagel went well together. Both desserts were excellent. Amazed that it's all vegan. Will definitely come back the next time we're in town."

"Hivolt is more than a coffee shop. Much more. It's a bakery and maker of many delicious things. For example, the Morning Glory Muffin is the best muffin in NOLA. Next, try the French Connection. It's a croissant with several delicious things inside. Or try their bowls. I like the Rufus. I could list all the ingredients, but you have to go and try one."

"For special occassions only!!. I love the food at Mortons, it's wonderful. We had Christmas Eve dinner there and found something for everyone. However $9 mixed drinks and $12 plain salads just dont make this a great option for regular dining. Neither does the fact that they dont tell you the price of the specials."
