"How can you stop eating at a place called Captain Joey? This locally owned restaurant seems very popular among locals based on the noon amount, but if you try the food you will know why. There are both indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor terrace has a good size canopy to stop the afternoon rain. The staff is super friendly and courteous, always with a smile and a friendly word. I had the Grouper Basket meal, which was very good, and the Gumbo alone is worth a return trip! I also tried the baked beans as one of the offered pages that were also very delicious. The Hush puppies were okay, it was just a lot of fried food for a session. Enjoy excellent value for money!"

"This morning I needed 9 coffees to thank my coworkers for covering me while at jury duty. I was able to call in and text my order so that when I arrived it was halfway done. Mind you, this is like 6:15am. And it was the busiest Friday morning as apparently the whole world had a rough week and needed that pick me up. AND the milk guy was making a delivery. Josiah and Victoria were undeterred, and continued to fulfill all orders with efficiency and a smile. I am so thankful to them both for helping me show my gratitude to others and for the always amazing coffee!!!"
