"You're greeted by the smell of hot cinnamon buns and sausage rolls when you walk through the door...If that doesn't hook you nothing will! The server at the counter the first time we went in was the owner we think and she was cranky. She snapped at the guy in front of us that "she was working by herself that day and she wouldn't have a sandwich for him for at least 20 minutes". She then went on to serve us and wasn't any happier. The next day, however, was a different story. A different counter server who was so pleasant and happy made all the difference. We visited here most days during our stay in Tlell and you really can't go wrong with the soups, coffee, sausage rolls and cinny buns."

"Angela 's Place, located in the community of Port Clements, is attached to the town gas bar. The space is fairly small (some would say cozy , and is clearly a hangout for the locals. Maybe it 's because of the small space, but when I visited I...kind of felt out of place like an outsider. Granted, most who visit small communities tend to feel a little out of place because everybody tends to know everybody, but it just seemed more pronounced here. When I dined at the Yakoun River Inn I didn 't feel nearly as awkward. . . but then, the space is larger, so maybe it 's a spatial thing. Anyway, that said, the service was friendly and the food was fine typical fare, nothing to write home about. A clubhouse is a clubhouse, after all; however, I will give them this: the carrot cake was great! It was fluffy and not too sweet (often a fine balance when dealing with this type of cake . Would I return? Probably not, but that 's not a knock on the place by any means. FOOD: 2.5/5 SERVICE: 3/5 VALUE: 2.75/5 RECOMMENDATION: If you 're looking for a quick bite to eat in Port Clements before continuing on with an adventure, this place is probably your best bet. . .not that you have much in the way of options in Port ;"
