"Back to that hidden gem in the corporate center in Salcedo. There is a big “YES!” When my friend asked me if I was okay to have dinner in Tsumura. <br>

My first meal is definitely a good experience, everything is soooo delicious. We tried to go to a few restaurants in the Makati area but most of them are closed on Sundays. Good news! Tsumura is open ???? <br>

This place is underrated, not as popular as other Japanese restaurants we knew. But I can say that this place is authentic Jap Resto .. simple .. there are a lot of Japanese are dinners ???? <br>

For starters we had Chikuwa Cheese Age (P220) 4 pieces of squid filled with cheese. It's like an updated version of calamari. I love it! <br>

For our main course we had Ebi Tempura (P590), 5 pieces of prawns, served with vegetarian tempura. Delicious plump prawns ????. Another is Beef Usuyaki (P690) 6 pcs. One of my favorites here, it's made of mushrooms wrapped in thin beef garnishes with thin strips of carrot ....

Moreover, it is open hours! if they are in a hurry or just want to get their Japanese quick bits satisfied, this is for them the last thing I tried was the wagyu cube. they know it is not authentic when they have tasted the legit wagyu cubes, but the sauce and the taste they will order for more!"

"This was a nice chill place for an afternoon snack (or meal if you're hungry). They have affordable rice meals that comes with iced tea but it took some time to be served though. They also have drinks that were quite affordable. I had matcha latte but I couldn't finish it perhaps because it was too matcha for me. Still worth coming back for though, the ambiance is chill and wonderful."

"This place looks bright, dainty, and spacious, with enough green-white-brown in its overall look. It felt like the restaurant has been curated by a wedding caterer. Half of the space has been set up to accommodate a bridal shower; the layout and details were lovely. The remaining half was occupied by us and other diners. Tables are adequately spaced so the restaurant didn't feel buzzy - you won't overhear other people's conversations.<br>

They served complimentary popcorn - nothing fancy but it whetted our appetite. The Fig Salad, their bestseller, had a unique and lovely taste - earthy and milky. It had an overall bitter note which was enjoyed in the beginning; eventually, we felt that perhaps the chef may have over-sauteed the figs because the dish got intolerably bitter towards the end.
