"I bought a CUDO deal for $49 for 2 people. It included 2 x glass of wine/ beer , to share: endamame, chicken karage, tofu and seaweed and avocado salad, tempura prawn crunch roll and miso soup. Then 1 x main each whuch couldve been...chicken/ salmon teriyaki, wagyu beef udon, assorted tempura. The value was exceptional. The food was so yummy and the location and atmosphere placed you in the middle of Darling Quarter. I will definitely return here. The staff were also helpful and very friendly and polite."

"Her menu reads clearly as per image tee: “Silvertip loose tea”. I ordered a dae and got loose leaf. one day I have instead a custom tee bag - and was said that this is the standard tee available for customers, unless I expressly order silver tip as they have brands of tee! Of course, the menu and the registration only one tea option, not and the barrista would argue that is not the case - the displayed signage menu is only for customers who do not take away. how does that make sense? make her sign clearer and show all her tea options one for diners and a...read more"

"Another Merivale restaurant and another winner. This is a long term pop up with Asian flavours and a wonderful wine list (try the jamsheed harem and the la violetta shiraz) and curious food like the Lotus cheeseburger and the hot fudge sundae. The service is spot on and there's a sneaky bar out the back. Expect to pay $25 to $30 for mains to share. Sit outside. It's the closest thing to London and Soho"

"My friend and I came here for her birthday and we were not disappointed. Yes, it's pricey, but the food is very delicious. The Korean/Japanese influence is obvious, and the taste is yum, yum, yum! From the Matcha fries, to the Poke Salmon salad, to the one-off dessert we ended our feast with (celebrating VIVID festival in Sydney), we were completely satisfied and happy with all dishes. Service was great, and the booking process was perfect. I will be back!"

"N O R S K ☆ D O R

We followed the wolf howls to this underground Viking inspired restaurant in the city.

Greeted promptly and seated in a very busy restaurant, we opted for the degustation menu.

I know that everyone is raving on about this place ‘oh is so Scandinavian’ but sadly, I was pretty bored and average food.

The bone marrow was jelly like matter and lacked any flavour, almost every dish had some sort of pickle element and to be honest, very disappointed with serving size.

You have to pay $70 per person to receive ONE plate of each dish to share.

We ended up ordering an extra main dish because it wasn’t filling enough.

The only things that I enjoyed was the really good cocktail and the atmosphere inside. But that’s it. Won’t recommend this place at all.

✌@foodiesguidetosydney"

"Love the mushy peas and mash topped on a steak pie. Pies are meaty and juicy just the way my kids want them. The gravy is so flavourful. My hard to please son, says that he loved the peppery meat filling. " It's really freshly cracked",he said. It's is heavenly for pie lovers all except the staff are a bit unfriendly. I had come from another country to take a bite of these pies but greated with an almost unwelcoming staff, but that did let me down. I still enjoyed my pies."
