"Located just by the main entrance to the Valley Mall in Corner Brook, this part cafeteria style, part seated restaurant style spot serves plenty of home cooked goodness. They have sweets to die for in ready to take (after you pay of course) in a range of prices and types. From lemon pies to date squares. My friend and I opted for a seated meal. It was later in the evening and the place was not busy. Very casual. Seemed to be plenty of regulars there which bodes well for the quality. I opted for a spinach salad and my friend ordered a Caesar. Mine was OK... not stellar, but not awful just fair. The caesar unfortunately was made with simulated bacon bits, powdered parm and bagged croutons... Quite awful. And really not necessary. Service was... well? I expected better. A bit surly and certainly not welcoming in any manner. I was able to get her to warm up slightly in the end but it was not a stellar experience. All together, not a terrible spot better left to lunch I think."

"This restaurant is very nice and the food is pretty good. The menu is limited but everything on it is quite tasty. I would recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a nice steak with all the trimmings and a good bottle of wine. It has a very relaxing atmosphere with a courteous and professional staff that make you feel welcomed from the first minute."
