"Slower service. Ordered the fried sweet potatoes and over half the order was burnt. Sauce wasn’t very much like huancaina, like stated. The potatoes that were cooked well were very tasty. *edit* They only charged me 6/S instead of 12-15 whatever it should have been. Didn’t ask, they did on their own. Good on them. Rating 4 instead of 3"

"I had read an article before our visit to Cusco about decades old 'quintas' in Perú. This place was just a block or 2 from our AirBnB place but we stopped in a few times to find it closed before we realized it closed at 5pm daily. We headed there for a late lunch the next day and enjoyed the setting, the ancient waiter, and the local food."

"Amazing vegan moka! I ordered the vegan moka and the vegan cake (banana and nut bread). They were superb! My husband ordered the latte and the brownie which he loved too. Nice vibe and good service!"

"Budget place in the city centre of Cusco, where eat mostly local people. We had a chicharron and costillar fritto. Portions were enormous. The lamb ribs (costillar) were tender and delicious, however the pig meat (chicharron) was too dry. Service was kind and speaking a bit of English."

"TAKEAWAY BASED REVIEW. I was staying 5 minutes away from JCs and used them as a place to grab my evening meals on days I wanted to chill and eat at my accommodation. I usually walked in around 8PM and was met with friendly, kind staff who spoke good English. After you order you can wait inside and they have music playing with a television on as well. I had ordered the ham and cheese toastie, steak sandwich and chicken tortilla on different occasions. On every occasion the food was prepared in good time and packaged in perfect takeaway form a white box for the main food, pots/sachets for any sources that would usually go with the meal, napkins and plastic cutlery all in a carrier bag. The food was still hot every time I sat down to eat after a 5 minute walk back in the cold Cusco evening climate. The portions are generous which is ideal if you’ve been out exploring around town or out on an excursion during the day. All meals I tried were well cooked and very tasty. The ham and cheese was my favourite of the lot. I would recommend any travellers who want good food to takeaway JCs. I am sure the food is just as good if you eat in also (although as I say I have not experienced that myself)."
