"What a great place to spend a night or two with your kids... A friend of us recommended us to stay here and it couldn’t have been a better choice. You will need to drive to Engelberg and then take the cable car to Ristis and then the Sesselift to Brunnihuette. Price per person is around 40 Chf, and kids under 6 years don’t pay. The accommodation is very casual with no deluxe at all! Shared bathrooms. Great views to the mountains and the nice sound of the cows. Several places for barbecue, a little lake to swim, some different paths to walk and a nice playground for kids and a great slide (rodebahn) at Ristis. Please bear in mind that the price of the cable car and sesselift is only one way up and one way down. If you do it twice you will need to pay again. Cars can stay down in Engelberg (big parking) you just need to inform the cashier where you buy the cablecar tickets. Dinner at Brunnihuette is quite early (mostly for spanish people like us, at 18.30) but great time to enjoy the views while dinning. It is very quite from 18.00 onwards as cable car stop around 16.30 so just walkers can get Brunnihuette. I definetuvely recommend Brunnihuette for those wishing to discover the real Switzerland. Pay attention to weather forecast before you go, it can completely change your experience..."

"Die Älplermacaronen sind wie man es sich in den Bergen vorstellt. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob es einfach an der Umgebung kiegt. Zuhause schmecken sie nicht gleich, obwohl sie auch gut sind, aber die Berglaune hilft mit. dass sie besser schmecken."
