"It was our anniversary and we did a reservation. We went there in time and waited to be seated about 10 minutes. We been ignored by all waiters for this time.we found our table and still they ignored us.the table was still dirty Form the guest Eat there before, but they put the reservation sign and fresh servietts for ist. The Location was with 11 tables empty and the other tables not complete filled (In the size half empty) and Most of the guest there had their order already. We got ready to leave and at the door we Said Good bye. The waitress looked at us and Said“ i was about to come to you.“we told her about the reasons why we are leaving now, but there was no reaction. We sent a mail to the owner and again no reaction. Better take your food and a blanket and have a nice Picknick with the same view and better service."

"Auf der belebten und zu Recht beliebten Höhenstrasse da gibt es ja einige Lokale. Restaurants die aber von sehr unterschiedlicher Qualität sind.Eines der ganz guten, sog. "gut bürgerlichen", traditionellen, ist das Häuserl am Roan.(Bitte aber nicht verwechseln mit dem benachbarten "Häuserl am Stoan")Wir besuchen es seit vielen Jahren 2-4 mal pro Jahr und nun ist Zeit auch einmal eine Wertung abzugeben. Ja wir sind immer wieder zufrieden mit Speis und Trank und dem charmant leicht "angegrautem" Lokal-Ambiente. Der Service ist trotz meist viel Betrieb immer gut präsent und sehr freundlich. Wer Wiener Küche auf solider Basis mag der ist dort goldrichtig. Die Chefin selbst kocht und dirigiert das Ganze.Trotz "Wiener Küche" essen wir aber dort besonders gerne den Vogel Strauß (aus der Zucht in Pielach NÖ. und nicht aus Südafrika) fein gegrillt mit Gemüse und hervorragend knusprigen Bratkartoffeln.Strauß bekommt man leider in Wien ja eher selten, daher der extra Hinweis.Hervorragend abgeschmeckt ist er auch noch.An warmen Tagen sitzt man auf der Terrasse und sieht sehr schön auf Wien hinunter.An den Wocheneden soll man aber unbedingt länger vorher reservieren,weil sonst geht dann gar nichts. Oder man muss vor der Türe im Wienerwald warten."
