"It was the perfect evening to dine al fresco (7pm reservations) on Labor Day weekend when everyone else was out of town and we easily got our outdoor table which The Cottage does not guarantee, but assigns first come, first served. The cool, pleasant weather complemented the fine service and delightful food. We spent 3 happy holiday weekend hours there with our friends and would definitely return. Gnocchi, salmon, chicken marsala and steak frite were all well prepared and presented. Calamari, tho spicy, was delicious as was the porterhouse lamb appetizer. We also shared a lemon creme brulee and a strawberry shortcake that finished a lovely, casual evening"
