"Small place with an exotic atmosphere. The food was Thai. Good. Plating was nice and the food was good. Nothing especially or exceptionally special. The prices were a bit pricey as all Thai is usually, and the portions are small."

"Great little local Western Chinese Food. this cafe has been in Cloverdale since the 70's I think. The owner is a youngish person that is hoping to bring in a few new dishes of hi own creation soon. I know that the site looks aged, when we went in the tables and chairs brought back memories of bringing my children and gave me an opportunity to discuss local history and to show to my grandchildren what the past really looked like. the food was plentyful and delish. Please support Small local cafe's in Cloverdale"

"One of the few decent options for dim sum in South Surrey. It’s no Kirin but has some different options not offered on traditional/usual dim sum menu. Most choices are good, however I would avoid any of the “rice roll” items, (usually overcooked), especially the “Chinese donut” roll as they changed the wrapper to pink/food coloured which is unusual. Recommend: Shanghai dumplings are good but not the best. Squid with chilli (which was taken off the menu, but you can still order it). Congee is also decent. Scallop/shrimp dumplings are good as well."

"This Thai restaurant has been around 8 years. Small, clean, simple décor, great service, and even better flavours. Each of the dishes were well prepared, with wonderful fresh flavours. We order medium spicy, and every herb and spice came through nicely on the palate. The green curry was full of flavour; the prawns were perfectly cooked, the green beans with tofu had a lovely hint of spice. the best part of every dish - no added oil. Every dish was prepared with very little oil. Even their spring rolls. which are house made, have no oil residue - the wrap is crispy, the filling warm, a mixture of meat and vegetables, with no greasy residue. The only dish that we found not quite as great is their Pad Thai (the noodles stick together)- but the rest of their dishes: Impressive- highly recommend for good Thai food in Surrey - North Delta. Restaurant has about 12 tables, most seating 4 people."
