"The service and staff were great, the restaurant was clean and organized. However, the food fell short, the sushi rice was muddy, I couldn't see the individual grains, there was also no travel vinegar in the sushi. In addition, the rollers were cut unevenly and the fish on Nigri were cut in phase. Finally, the amount of rice was much compared to fish in the rolls and the fish was not missing. When you read past reviews people mentioned, the portion sizes are generous, I think that's what they mean. The chicken catsu was set strangely (the pieces on the chicken in a large flat bowl with a smaller bowl sauce on the chicken and rice on the side in a smaller bowl). The chicken was quite dry, it seems that the chicken was shaken super thin and the fried for a tad too long. The salad that accompanied the Katsu was unusable due to the lack of dressing and the dressing was extremely garlicky. Not great! I do not believe that this is the fault of a person in the restaurant, but a total failure in management and property. I hope this place can bring it together and will serve high-quality dishes in the future."

"Beautiful location right by the beach and Belmont Park. Food was delicious and I got plenty for my money. I had leftovers for sure. But I couldn't stop eating till I was full. The waitress was attentive and very sweet. The Only downside was the lack of decor and it was stuffy inside.Food: 5/5"

"Sushi Kuchi was a fun lunch experience. 1st off the name just cracked us up! Ok? But Most Importantly the Food was Awesome!!! I mean Yummy ? I’m a huge Sushi ? ? lover this was really good! Of course the 50% off discount on all the rolls was a nice incentive but aside from that it was easy order, fast, good fun! We had the normal edamame miso soup openers before our Sushi Kuchi Rolls. Our reunion lunch was really nice but having here made it iconic memorable. ?"

"Had Thanksgiving lunch. The buffet was ample and nothing was missing. The service was casual-friendly and we felt at home and well cared-for. My wife felt some dishes a little salty but I found everything to my taste. Three meats— turkey, ham and prime rib— all well cooked and well seasoned. Garlic mashed potatoes with brown gravy were heavenly . I can’t overstate the delicate perfection of the petits fours for dessert. I would return for those exclusively. I recommend the graham cracker custard dusted with chocolate. Reminded me of my grandmother’s pastries. Spectacular"

"We like this place a lot. Mostly because servers are sweet and the prices are neat. Pre-inflation prices for delicious rolls? our favorites are the Ninja and the Flaming Hey Lee. I wouldn?t recommend the curry or the udon. The rice in the curry is not great and the udon was just fine. But the rolls are good value. This is a nice low key, casual place. Quite nice!"

"The general area at Tajima consists of Chinese, Korean, Thai, and other Japanese restaurants but this shines in contrast with the other Asian restaurants on Convoy St. I highly recommend the Yakisoba Omelette and Yakiudon. Their okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake) is also quite good, just ask them to go light on the sauce. The bonito flakes look like they’re alive when you first get your dish, but fear not, it’s just a reaction to heat. One thing I noticed is the bilingual clientele. They are mostly Japanese, and the wait staff are all Japanese as well. I think this is one of the few Japanese restaurants that are actually owned by Japanese. I think the only flaw is that they play too much mainstream American pop music- not too loud. It’s definitely a good place to go dating. They have two flat screen TVs as part of the decoration- it’s always showing something interesting; natural scenery, wildlife, and such."

"I recently visited Wonderful Sushi for dinner and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Firstly, the time it took for our food to be prepared was excessively long, leaving us feeling frustrated and hungry.When we finally received our dishes, the quality of the food was simply poor. The yakishoba was dry and lacking in flavour, while the tj roll appeared stale and unappetising. The veg roll was no exception, being bland and tasteless.Overall, I was extremely let down by the food at Wonderful Sushi. With such a delayed preparation time and such poor quality dishes, I would not recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a satisfying Japanese meal."

"We stopped a quick meal in front of a concert in the observatory. we tried only 2 rolls of fresh summer rolls and the fresh fusion roll. both were good, but I preferred the pillow roll. everything was served in to-go-order containers and red solo cups, but that didn't bother us. I would come back to try the other one."
