"This is a run of the mill harvester which is fine and good value for money. The food is of good quality and well cooked. Due to the location, it was extremely busy and unfortunately this led to slow poor service"

"Busy sunny weekend. Staff could not cope. They had ran out of Half the menu! Manager that day was rude! No plates for salad bar! Even ran out of salt!!!! Basically it is in a prime location opposite the beach and pier so surely they should be prepared for busy times! It seems not. I shall never recommend this Harvester. As not much choice to choose from on the beach front then people have to use it. We did try it again on a quieter day but even then the tables had not been cleared, they were dirty, no toilet paper and I could go on as the list is endless. Hugely disappointed in the Harvester chain for allowing such disgracefully restaurant to be managed so badly."

"We visited durley dean harvester every week, but stopped when they changed the menu and we couldn't get what we wanted. I am glad to say that the dinge have been enormously improved since the last time we have visited, and although the staff has changed a lot, the service was efficient and fast. we visited a 50% VIP deal, and hope harvester will soon be using the Keycard control (as many other chains have recently) and we would possibly visit again weekly."

"The service and the waitress was good, but the chips were like carton and tasteless and not very warm. the huh and the ribs tasted ok, but were served in a metal plate that had a high inch rim that made it hard to cut the food. wein as always was too expensive."
