"The chef leaves at the end of February so hurry up and make a booking. This is a degustation meal in the style of Vue D Monde but at a fraction of the price. Each course is described in detail by the wait staff and none were a disappointment. Some of the ingredients sounded strange (sweet cabbage juice on a desert?) but all were exquisite. we chose from the wine list which is reasonably priced and composed of lesser known vineyards, the 2006 Ada River Shiraz went perfectly with the Waygu beef. You can choose to have wines matched with each course which is a further $60. I've eaten at Vue D Monde and Loame, the quality here is similar but at a much lower price ($80). Ambiance is classic Bowls Club."
