"In a foodie town with lots of options vying for the traveling gourmand, Les 400 Coups is an accessible, exhilarating & flavorful "must dine" in Old town Montreal. The design- forward setting blending seamlessly into the surrounding heritage environment, is classy, yet not off-putting or austere like so many establishments. The service from the maitre d' and on to the wait staff was efficient & engaging while seemingly effortless. The menu, while limited in scope, was incredible in presentation & combination of flavors. Most of the items are tasting portions, and yet with the five smaller dishes, the meal was entirely satiating. The green beans, and the cauliflower dishes were an explosion of flavor, and the tomato soup, unlike any had before, could be eaten daily. A daily spacial of Halibut was an especially lovely dish in a carrot broth. The in-house baked bread was some of the best of any restaurant I have ever enjoyed previously. Definitely a must visit when in Montreal."

"Un bon souper un vendredi soir en agréable compagnie (amis et famille). Bon rapport qualité prix. Ce resto valorise les ingrédients locaux et de saison. Les plats sont magnifiquement présentés. Il me reste à aller goûter au brunch qui seraient semble-t-il succulents!"

"Nous avons mangé hier soir sur la terrasse. On avait un Groupon.On a commencé par deux bières qui sont arrivées dans un délai plus ou moins acceptable. Le tout s'est gâché avec le service des plats. L'entrée de croquettes et de celle de calamars étaient bonnes malgré l'attente. Les plats principaux sont arrivés 2h30 après notre arrivée. Tout arrivait séparément. Les verres de vin en premier, les frites commandées en accompagnement sont arrivées froides et sans le plat principal et ont été retournées. Finalement mon trio de tartares très moyen car boeuf coupé en petits morceaux au couteau au lieu d'être haché et la bavette qui selon mon conjoint était bonne. Après ça plus de contact avec le personnel. Après une attente ridicule nous avons demandé l"addition et demandé à apporter notre dessert. L'addition est quand même assez salée même avec le Groupon car la taxe est calculée sur le prix réel. Une expérience à ce restaurant en est une que je ne repeterai pas. Le service est extrêmement lent et ils sont totalement désorganisés en cuisine et la bouffe est bonne mais juste ok."

"Decor should be expected from a restaurant from a hotel. I ordered the mushroom filled gniocci and it was super amazing and delicious. The service was also really good and professional. My family got the burgers and pommes that were super tasty. I also have to try the polnta, which was amazingly creamy. This restaurant was really good."
