"This is the first time at Boisdale Belgravia the service was really bad. We had to caught the waiters attention several times. We sat down and no one came with menus and drinks and the restaurant was empty and the waiters were not busy. A table of 6 sat next to us and the waiter who was looking after them ignored us completly until we asked at the reception and finally he came to take our order (but he looked annoyed). But the stage we received the wine we were so disappointed that we did not even bother to send the bottle back. Again for the first time we had a cote du rhone which tasted vinegary...also there was no english ale because was out of stock. We will never go back."

"It is hard to find good sushi in London, but this little neighbourhood restaurant really excels! Whoever is buying the fish knows what they are doing it is uniformly fresh, and well-cut. The selection, while not massive, does include some hard-to-find items like amaebi' (beautiful little sweet shrimp) and suzuki (sea bass, not motorcycles), as well as two grades of tuna and the usual hamachi. the rice was properly made and the spicy edamame were really spicy! We were sat downstairs in a very cool, vault-like booth, but there is a sushi bar upstairs, which I'm not sure is in service just yet. Speaking of service, our waitress was lovely overall, no complaints. We took a chance on this restaurant, as it is in our neighbourhood, and were really pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food we can't wait to go back and explore more of the menu."
