"My wife and I along with two of our closest friends have dined at the Centre Bridge Inn at least 8 times over the past years. We dined last night and discovered that while this restaurant was always pricey, the quality of food and value has significantly dropped. The last time we visited before last night was back in May of 08 and the food was excellent. We asked if they had a change in the chef and the answer was they did about a year ago which was the last time we ate there. Very disappointing starting with the gulf shrimp appetizers that totaled 5 about the size of my thumb. The soups were extremely spicy. I ordered a NY Strip steak that was not of the best quality and which was coated with a glaze or sauce that was horrible. Our friends ordered pork which was again a small portion that was dry and not very tasty. We informed the waitress of our displeasure and we were given desserts on the house....and again along with the cold coffee was not very good..Thankfully that was also a small portion. This dinner came no where close to being satisfying and will not return unless I hear of a change in the chef."
