"The hamburger was very big. It was cold and ff were cold only thing fresh was the lettuce and tomato hamburger was precooked and the wings were precooked only thing we got hot was the onion rings and blue cheese dressing and it should have been cold.i would not recommend this place. They need a cook or chef that knows hamburges and wings.the had to have been put in a microwave top was falling apart and the bottom was hard cannot believe they they are still in business.i told the waiter and he did not care"

"El Llagar (Punta Azul, Boca del Rio) visited for the first time. My wife, my brother-in-law and mother's right, all the state of Veracruz, except me. I never had Spanish tapas in Mexico, only in Spain and the USA. We thought the food was excellent. For better or worse, the portion sizes are large, especially compared to what you find in Spain. I ordered Alubias con almejas (giant lima bean soup with mussels), Macarrones con chorizo y serrano (Penne Pasta with Spanish chorizo, Serrano ham and Marinara sauce) and Pulpo a la gallega (Gallician octopus). Everything was good. There were only three very large shells in the soup, but the broth took the taste well. I almost never arrange pasta in Mexico, because like Steak it is usually overhauled. This dish was simple, but perfectly prepared. Pulpo a la gallega is probably my favorite tapa. Everyone makes it a little different. Although not the best I ever tasted, the version of el Llagar was really good... and Veracruz makes Pulpe very good in general if you like Oktopus. Since this was a tapas evening, I got to taste other dishes. The pork dish my (Koch) brother-in-law was slowly cooked, tender and juicy. All of them remained happy. The biggest miss was that half of the food came before we had something to drink, especially because they did not have the bottle of wine we ordered, and the subsequent negotiations took a while. There was a loud and seemingly drunk table nearby, but I am a little more for that when in Mexico. Overall, this is definitely a place we will return to. The view makes for a great dusk in the historic Veracruz."

"My husband and I went here to celebrate his birthday and had a wonderful meal. We shared the cricket appetizer and he had a fish loin served on a leaf and I had braised rib meat tacos. I slipped them a note that it was my husband 's birthday and they presented him with a beautiful piece of cake and ice cream with a birthday candle. The service was excellent and we both enjoyed the food and the restaurant. We will go back this was our first visit."
