"48H Pizza Gnocchi Bar was an Italian restaurant serving pizza and pasta. The ambiance was that of your typical Italian restaurants; loud and warm. For dinner we ordered the award winning Di Parma pizza and Al Tartufo gnocchi. The pizza had a nice thin crispy base topped with delicious mozzarella, and the gnocchi had a pretty firm texture with an intense truffle flavour. The Cuore di pistacchio we had for dessert was sinfully delicious with its generous pistachio spread filling. Overall, we were very satisfied with our dinner!"

"...and we're back! 2018 is upon us and with the new year comes refreshed determination to find Melbourne's best parma. We've got some interesting things in store for you this year that I am super excited about, so be sure to stay tuned!. I've got a bit of a love/hate relationship with South Wharf. There are some great stores, some fantastic restaurants pubs and the formerly-Hilton-now-Pan-Pacific hotel overlooking it all is a great spot for a staycation in the city... However it lacks a soul. It all seems so sterile and inorganic that I have trouble willing myself to venture to that part of town."

"So underrated!! I come every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday because I work nearby. They always surprise me no matter what I order. The portion is great and comes with miso soup or salad if you order don. Their ice matcha and green tea ice cream are good too! The staff are Japanese and they are super friendly. Would love to come for dinner one day!"

"We were invited to No19 today and I’m happy to say it’s as delicious as ever. Their cured salmon side is something else and I thoroughly recommend. Today I got the refresh juice which was watermelon based and very summery. We enjoyed the passionfruit bircher which was prettily presented and full of flavour. UpdateWe were delighted to be invited to No19 again, I loved that avo dish so much last time I simply had to have it again! I’m pleased to report consistency in presentation and yumminess which is very important. I also tried the nutberry smoothie this time which was heavenly and also sampled from their deliciously tempting sweet range in the form of a nostalgic honey joy butterbing, absolutely perfect! Undoubtedly one of the greats of the Melbourne brunch scene Original reviewI was invited to No19 this morning and it was an absolutely fabulous breakfast experience. The cafe itself was slick and modern with gorgeous interiors and the food was faultless.I started with the vitamin juice (Melbourne winter cold life which was delicious as I pondered the menu. I almost didn’t order the avocado toast as I knew it was chunks not smashed (from some Instagram research, don’t we all do this?! but I am soooo glad I chose it. An unbelievably generous amount of avo paired perfectly with Persian feta and tomatoes, a nice little poachie some pickled golden beets and a smear of miso hummus. I also got a side of cured salmon which was absolutely delicious too.Note the Zomato menu listed here is not current but I thoroughly recommend the chocolate French toast if you are a sweet tooth. It’s a visual feast and it’s choc toffee crown was a chewy crunchy textural showstopper. Decadent Ferraro rocher ice cream atop chocolate brioche with berries and poached pears drizzled in caramel sauce, this was an utter work of art. The presentation was gorgeous and the fruit cut through the richness of the dish. This is a really great cafe but sadly much too far away for me to be a regular. Maybe they could expand the empire in the eastern suburbs..."

"Nanz noodle house exceeded my expectations! I’m Thai and always crave for tasty spicy foods and Nanz has it all! We had Stir fry with basil, chicken red curry, เกาเหลาน้ำตก, Kai Tod. All very yummy and authentic especially not sweet like many other Thai restaurants. Cheap prices compared to other Thai restaurants with decent sized portions and the setup inside the restaurant is simple and warm!"

"I was hungry like a wolf today so called into Roam cafe for an early morning bite ahead of work. Being part of a fairly modern apartment building this cafes dimensions were quite large, but it didn’t feel cavernous at all due to well thought out internals breaking up the space. We sat at one of many share tables at the front of the cafe while classic David Bowie played to ease us into the day.<br/ <br/ We were offered coffees to start with (St Ali) and observed other customers doing the same. Staff were very good at knowing the regulars coffee orders which is bound to please. After our coffees arrived we then preceded to order some of the hearty dishes from the breakfast and lunch menus.<br/ <br/ We ordered the Calamari from the lunch section and OMG, this is one of the better calamari dishes out there, the baby squid rings where tender, in a super tasty batter and paired perfectly with roquette and balsamic mayonnaise.<br/ <br/ Next up we tried the Polenta Breaky which was a nice bonus being gluten free. It came with super crunchy cheesy polenta which was perfect for soaking up the yolk of the poached eggs. This dish is kept fresh with the freshly picked basil leaves, cherry tomatoes, perfectly sliced avocado and drops of balsamic. I loved this dish, no toast in sight yet a super satisfying breakfast from the great flavours to the generous portion size.<br/ <br/ We also ordered the Breakfast Green salad, a delightful mix of spinach, charred asparagus, broccoli, cherry tomato, pecorino, caramelised onion and kept fresh with some lemon tang. It also had a lovely crunch from sweet potato crisps, while the poached egg and added smoked salmon made for a super filling meal. The additional upgrade to include salmon is well recommended.<br/ <br/ Accompanying our meals I also ordered a mixed juice blend which was sweet and had celery, carrots and other yummy items.<br/ <br/ My favourite of the three dishes we tried today was the Polenta because I’ve had such bad Polenta dishes at other places and I now know how good it can be. Overall I was surprised at how generous the serves were with all of these dishes<br/ <br/ I hear Roam soon plan to launch a Parma Night on a Friday night, which should get peoples attention. Every other parma night I know of in Richmond occurs on the quieter Monday thru Wednesday evening, so a Friday night option is sure to be welcomed.<br/ <br/ A big thank you to David and the team for your hospitality."

"'Smashed Avocado '<br/>Fresh avocado and generous serving of toast. The service was great and had a great vibe. Just felt like there wasn 't enough of the actually ingredients. Lacked kale, gets and seasoning. Needed more flavour. Still a good dish just needed some work."
