"Excellent old school nyc diner. affordable and comfortable. nothing will blow off their socks, but they will not be disappointed. burger always boiled to her lust on the plancha with a beautiful seaman. not the highest quality meat but still delicious. large, double fried French pommes. in any case a place to repeat, for all her diner half clips."

"Oldschool Diner. I visit Astro for breakfast every time in midtown and only get one thing: the lox platter. It's pretty hard to screw up, and I realize you can get it at tons of places, but this is old school at it's best. I love sitting at the diner listening to the regulars bitch about but the train and the subway. It doesn't get much better than quality lox and a toasted bagel, accompanied by capers, onion, cream cheese, tomatoes, peppers and lettuce!"

"The GM never answered our email or recognized our TripAdvisor review HighPoints: the view outside, Héctor who tried his best to make a special Valentine 's with a normal outdoor bar menu Low Points: all the lovely expensive drinks served in cloudy PLASTIC glasses, though we are far from the sea and far from the pool who serves bottled champagne drinks in plastic for Valentine 's Day in a restaurant? St Regis does! NO reference to Valentine 's Day anywhere at this luncheon event for friends that cost $700USD the birds constantly landing on tables and unafraid of dogs, children, and diners; the complete disregard for Valentine 's Day with NO mention on menu, no special desserts, no Valentine 's welcome on the table, and no Valet welcome for the Valentine 's Day; security greets at main entrance us with Are you staying here? ... perhaps a good afternoon and welcome to our property..... are you a guest or a visiting tourist with a reservation? ; filthy, unkept bathrooms behind the restaurant (see photos) Our server Hector told us the pastry chef would come to our table as he was close by (and he NEVER EVER came to our table) as we wanted to inquire about the Strawberry Eton Mess (which was just a soup no meringue or ice cream or anything even matching the description) and the Chocolate Lava (which came overbaked and cold) ; they were OUT of Panna Cotta on Valentine 's Day with no special desserts either; a buggy brought us from Valet parking to the restaurant; when we asked about a buggy to take us back to the front with our 91 year old guest with a cane, the boy at the sunscreen shop said it 's better for you to walk, and I don 't have a phone here. I went back to the restaurant and they phoned a buggy immediately HOW DO YOU MESS UP DESSERTS ON VALENTINE 'S DAY FOR FIVE? THE SAINT REGIS DEFINITELY DID! Unique Points: the view of rough Atlantic, the far walk to the parking; The Big 3: Food: mediocre Service: appropriate Ambience: no music, wild birds,"

"We booked a Sunday brunch for holidays. On our arrival, there was a crowded event happening at the location despite our reservation. We failed to find a manager to discuss the situation, a guest participating the event asked us to leave. We called the reservation number, a lady informed us that all reservations moved to another place at the hotel. She was extremely unhelpful and failed to understand we wanted to eat at the specific place we booked. She did not offered any real apology. We had to find another spot for brunch last min. I say, this place does not live to any of the expectation, staff is not classy. Stay away!!"
