"They should’ve called it “The Peru Pub” as then the list of beers would match. Not a single English beer on tap or in bottle. The card machine didn’t work (as so often as they rather have cash). The wifi was slow and intermittent. The...place smelled of deep fried food (my clothes reeked after) but even if I was hungry I wouldn’t have eat there after seeing the state of the toilet. The best thing about it was the view over the square."

"No lo recomiendo. Demoraron media hora en traer dos sopas. Estas estaban aguadas y encima no aceptan visa por menos de 70 soles!!!!"

"The 4 for 1 mojitos were a little deceiving when they advertise it. They will tell you it is a great deal but it is actually same price as 1 mojito. Good food though but too expensive. I will not reccomend it."

"The trout ceviche and alpaca saltada are excellent, and the pisco sour was the best we had during our month-long trip! In short, the restaurant was the perfect place for an authentic and elegant peruvian dinner, however, it is still a great place to swing by and pick up an inexpensive (but tasty) sandwich. It is still within the reach of budget travelers for lunch. Panaka is owned by a local peruvian family, one of its strengths."

"We randomly stopped in here after our dinner to get a few Pisco sours. We started off sitting on the rooftop with a great view and beautiful weather and decided to wonder downstairs. We visited with the bartender, Jose, for over two hours. He was...so welcoming, genuine, and full of joy! He let us sign the wall, and most certainly had us laughing the entire evening. He taught us about the different kids of local beers and piscos and even gave us advice on places to visit around town. We all definitely recommend this place."
