"The food was amazing but unfortunately our service was super bad. Reason why I’m not giving 5 stars. It was our first time. We went on a Monday and the special is 2x1 mac n cheese. We ordered one, we didn’t know about the special until after we ordered that we saw the flyer on the table. The waiter didn’t even mention it. So when I saw it and asked him about and he said “yes that’s the special” I figured he would say something like do you want me to add another one or just bring it. Well I had to ask him to add the free one and his response was “since you ordered one I thought you wanted 1” towards the end we see that day of your birthday you get a free milkshake, we asked him about it he said we need to show id. My mom left her id at home so she couldn’t show proof it was her birthday. My dad asked if he showed him her phone with all the birthday wishes if that would work and my mom also had the birthday gifts we had taken her. He kept saying we needed an ID. Which it’s fine it’s the policy we got it. So I go ahead and order a dessert and tell him that it’s her birthday. Mind you prior to this like half of the restaurant sang happy birthday to another table. So when he brings the dessert, he turns on the candle and we are the only ones singing happy birthday. He didn’t make any effort to make it special for my mother. It was very upsetting and it sucked that we got such bad service because the food was really good. Not sure if we would ever go back or maybe we can try a different location."
