"Visited this restaurant today. Service was terrible, waited ages for drinks, then not everything we had ordered was available and it took them ages to tell us. When food came, no plates were brought. My husband went in and asked for plates as food was going cold. Still no plates! Having eaten food, second drinks had still not arrived. Gave up. Went in and asked for Bill. Had a long and protracted conversation with the manager and the waiters who were all full of excuses. They insisted we didn't pay and offered to try to make it up to us however, it was all too little too late. Shame, it had lots of potential. It wasn't even busy! Much better eateries available in the town."

"And i eat a lot of steak! We were staying at Nielson's beach club, about 18 minutes walk. Took a punt and wandered outside. Chanced upon this steak house. The guy running the place showed us their meat fridge and took us through the provenance of the beef on offer. Spain takes their beef a lot more seriously than other Europeans, so what's on offer was top notch. We chose their national cow and ordered the t-bone. The portion was enough for two guys. Would probably skip the starter but starters were quite cheap anyway. Steak was A-MA-ZING. Tender, intense beef flavour and moist. Served with a generous salad and chips. You could just eat the beef and wolf it down with rioja. They also have a fine selection of regional wines, would probably retail for £90 in a London restaurant, but we got ours for £33 . They serve the steak on a hot plate and would offer to replace it so you could eat at your own pace without worrying about the steak getting cold. No need for sauce at all, there was so much flavour and moisture to enjoy already. I visited late last year around October. While writing a review for a B&B i've stayed in last week I realised I forgot to review this wonderful restaurant. I think it deserved a review."
