"As I have reported in other seafood local places, peruvian cuisine benefited from japanese immigrants in the seafood area. Their careful selection of the finest seafood varieties, the freshness their cuisine requires, the preparation made minutes before serving it, all of that transformed the spanish 'ceviche' that was simmered in lime juice for hours into the contemporary 'peruvian ceviche' which is actually a japanese-peruvian delicacy. Truth be served (as many forget to acknowledge nikkeis for this) this is one of the traditional japanese owned (yamakawa family) places that still fix wonderful seafood without the high prices others charge to bring more money out of travellers pockets withouth the quality this old places have but just sharp interior design and fancy locations. Go for the food not for the looks my friends! If you want to eat well, act as a gourmand, find the real places not the 'fashionable' ones."

"I'm glad I didn't read the reviews or I would have skipped this restaurant. We thought the food was excellent. The restaurant had many locals eating lunch. Service was good. Big room with lots of tables, so average on the ambiance. But to reiterate, food...was really tasty and very reasonable."
