"We popped into this cafe on Saturday morning looking for an early breakfast. The barista Jack was super friendly, offering us a selection of coffee roasts for our cappuccino. The cafe was busy and Jack handled it all with charm. We ordered a vegetarian breakfast which arrived promptly was beautifully presented and well cooked. Highly recommended."

"A half hour wait for food to be ready after ordering, though we were told to expect this, was busy but not ultra busy. However the thing that really takes this down for a dining experience is that tables are left uncleared for ages so few clean tables to sit at. The food is brought out from the kitchen but staff don’t seize the initiative to start clearing a table with stuff being taken back to the kitchen. This has been the case on prior visits and has previously been mentioned here. Staff are friendly but certainly a training need in this area."

"Very nice coffe, amazing breakfast and cakes you will be just drooling over! Place been pretty busy and I'm not suprised as everything is on point. Been here couple years ago and I'm so happy that after all these horrible pandemic years it is still there! Great job, love it there!"

"Found this cute busy little place in the lanes for coffee and cake. Cakes temptingly left in the window to salivate over. It was crammed full and we just got a table in the window. All cakes coffee and hot chocolates were great."

"I was originally going to have a donut, but at the last minute changed my mind. Maybe that was a mistake. I paid £3 for a cake, which was so dry and horrible, that half went in the bin. I’ve had better from a supermarket."

"I would love to leave more than 5 stars!! Me and my parter have come to Brighton for the weekend and came here on the Sunday and it was beyond excellent the staff af super friendly and are happy doing what they do the pastries are absolutely sublime my personal favourite is the cinnamon buns they are perfect. We also feel the pricing its amazing considering the size of the pastries they are huge all hand made and and you can see them makeing them all. Just such a beautiful place definitely worth a visit!!"
