"Best coffee in the Hamptons (though that is a low bar), but coffee here is always solid and unlike their mean sister in Amagansett the service here is civil and efficient. The Teddy Boy is our particular decadent favorite. I only wish it stayed open later in the afternoon."

"This is without a doubt one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. We had a 7pm reservation and didn’t get our food until after 9pm. For the record my food was RAW OYSTERS and that somehow took them over two hours to make. The waiter didn’t check on us once and actively avoided eye contact and we had to chase him down many times. Before the meal even began he was rude and snapped at me when I asked if he could bring us menus because we sat at a table for 15 min without even getting menus to look at. Every single thing was a disaster from start to finish. We got up to talk to mangers many times and still nothing changed and not one single person ever came over to apologize. The biggest offense was when we got our bill and saw that we were expected to pay for every single thing we ordered despite how insanely awful the experience was. I went up to the manager to discuss this with him and he was rude and fought me plenty. Finally they gave us a measly 20% off our bill. Let the record show this place charges over $40 per entree. It was beyond beyond appalling, clearly the problematic service goes all the way up to the top I have rarely seen a restaurant so poorly managed and you quite literally couldn’t pay me to return."

"I loved the lobster roll here. I don't eat the bread so I can't speak about that but the lobster meat was so sweet and tender. They used only claw meat in mine which I prefer over tail meat. I find the tail is often chewy. So I was so impressed with the claw meat. They have a very light butter sauce on it instead of heavy mayo and it's $20 compared to $30 to $35 for the lobster rolls everywhere else in town. So I don't know why people are complaining about the prices here I find this place much less expensive than other places in town. The only issue I had was that I called an hour ahead to place my order since it's only pick-up. I told them exactly when I was going to be there and was there on time but my food was cold. The butter had hardened and fries were cold. I figured they would have planned the time better and had it nice and warm. They also didn't add utensils or napkins and I assumed that was in the bag so by the time I opened everything it was too late. Next time I won't call ahead. But will definitely be back!"
