"Had no high expectations at this location from outside, but with limited places opened over the holiday season we stopped anyway. the staff was very friendly and helpful and eating was great to very cheap trips. beautiful fresh ingredients, good chai latte and all with a smile."

"I've always been a fan of PUBLIC due to it's spacious and airy setting and fancy brunch food. The place is quiet large with it's high ceilings, lots of natural lighting from the open glass front and industrial decor. Their menu offers extravagant and interesting breakfast and lunch items such as Blood Sausage, Duck Leg Crouquettes and Sriracha Brioche. I have played it on the safe side trying their burgers and Banana Bread French Toast both which I highly recommend. Food is presented beautifully, although portions are on the smaller side. Also, being in town, it is usually full of business people on morning or lunch meetings. Staff have always been friendly.<br/>Only downside is city parking is expensive and hard to find if you're purely just going to the restaurant."

"Ordered a large long black with a dash of soy milk on the side and then I added another sugar myself after the coffee was done(barista didn't bother to ask). Awful tasteless taste. Couldn't feel the taste of the coffee or soy milk (I have perfectly functioning tastebuds and I'm not having a cold). And it cost me $5.5. Is this the best you can do Phat Coffee? Not coming back again and def not recommend wasting your money on this."

"Tried the Indian pancake today and I was surprised at how good it tasted! Yum! Will be back for more. There are not many brunch spots on east end and sad cafe is definitely an option next time I'm there!"
