"We recently moved to Canmore and my first goal is to find the best coffee, coming into the cafe with the plan of grabbing a coffee to go turned into ordering food. This place is set up openly and almost summery. A beautiful spot to have a healthy and tasty bite of food. I’m super impressed, all of the staff are kind, and really do enjoy their jobs. They make food with high quality ingredients and they put heart and effort into every single dish and coffee which by the way the Vanilla Latte is a 10/10"

"One of our favorite places to hang out when we are in Canmore, is Beamer Coffee place (interestingly, we discovered this wonderful place when we noticed, while strolling in the Town Center, several people carrying distinguishable yellow coffee cups! Not only does it offer delicious coffee, tea and other drinks, the place is also a great place to just relax because they have ample space inside with a beautiful mountain view outside . They even have a small meeting room available (although every time we go there, it is always occupied My favorites: Must tries: Hot chocolate and Chai Latte. I have only tried their brewed coffee, but definitely I would try their wide array of coffee flavors in my future visits. On our next visit, I will try their London Fog because I have seen in Google Reviews that this is one of their popular must tries. And I cannot wait to sit at their alfresco dining area when summer comes !"

"They claim they are underused, but if you run four ppl run a single counter without espresso machine and only serving drip coffee.... You can see that the personnel are drastically lacking leadership and training. It took ten minutes after I ordered a single bagel with cream cheese from a bagel shop. There are better places in the valley that try to establish themselves that do not rest on the laurels that get my money from now on."

"The cafe has good quality ingredients so is more on a pricey side. The kids bowl is a bit small for the price but quality ingredients, the brown rice is soft for my 14 months. They are a bit short of hands, indoor and outdoor seating so I don't blame them for the wait. They have a changing table for baby and if you are out of diapers and wipes they might have free supplies, I used their size 3 diapers. The family washroom also has a step stool and my 4 yrs old is happy about it. Oh and they plant 1 tree for every order. I am happy and I will go again. I should also mention, if you are celiac, lactose intolerance and vegan, this is the place to go."

"We ordered a 3-tiered burnt caramel flavoured, vanilla buttercream textured wedding cake here. Not all the flavours advertised were available, but the flavour we chose turned out really well and people liked it. Personally I thought the cake was dry, though, and that we were grossly overcharged for the cake stand rental $50). The owner was not very personable, but the cake was beautiful."

"Mad Dog Cafe is a casual fast food restaurant serving East Indian cuisine, including a variety of curries, snacks, desserts and drinks. They also have a market area where you can purchase different Indian sauces and products and frozen/prepared meals. I ate here twice during my visit to Canmore as my hostel was right next door. Tried the chickpea fries with curried ketchup and the Alu Chole curry (vegan, potato and chickpea) with basmati rice and a mango lassi. Everything tasted incredible! I loved the spices and flavours. The restaurant has counter service only and you can dine in or take out. The seating area was nice and had views of the mountains out the windows. Service was very friendly and they even gave me a sample of the curry before ordering to make sure I liked it! I will absolutely be back here again!"

"Everything I had here was really good. Strong tea, the dark chocolate mocha was strong and slightly bitter and the fondue was tasty. We finished all the chocolate before the rest of the food and she filled it back up for free. I appreciate that as you need the right portion sizes. Would come back."
