"The most beautiful experience, the most beautiful food, I had the tofu on toast and it is the best I ever had and my partner had the great breakfast and it was so incredible that eating is cooked with so much care and love and that comes through with every bite. also the most loving coworkers who feel so at home and answer any question we had with thought and care can not wait to eat here again!"

"The vegan melt sandwich is my favourite sandwich in Christchurch full of vegan cheese and veggies make sure you get it heated. There are always multiple vegan options in the cabinet, sweet and savoury, and the coffee is really nice. Update October 2022 Vegan options starting to lag here. Last two times I’ve visited there’s only been sweet vegan things in the cabinet, nothing savoury, including the delicious sandwich. Disappointing. Updated from previous review on 2021 06 14"

"I’ve visited twice now and enjoyed both visits. I tried the veggie fries, soup of the day (roasted cauliflower), and the big breakfast. All were nice and I wasn’t left hungry. I also got a mushroom frittata to takeaway also yummy. And the coffee and service are both great too. Very busy on weekends, so go on a week day if you can."

"We chose this venue because of the quizz and the seafood chowder. The quizz master was lots of fun. Very welcoming and friendly. The seafood chowder was outstanding. The service could have been better as the staff were confused as to whether the chowder and toast were gluten free or not. Would definitely recommend it for a fun night out."

"I just wanted to bake some of them. the sky cupcake was delicious, the afghan was tasteful, but the texture was a bit soft for me, but her edgy butter cookie was great. her eating is characterized pb meaning plant is not characterized vegan, but the personal was fantastic help when I asked if they bake vegan!"

"Such a great find!! Went to four other cafes before stumbling across this cafe. Warm and inviting, stunning decor and very friendly and helpful staff! We are those annoying people with fussy kids and they went out of their way to tweak menu items to suit us! The whole family loved it. Food was delicious and fresh! The bagels and cheese scones and smoothies were excellent! We will be heading back for sure during our stay in Christchurch!"
