"Travel October 2022-I seriously needed to use the bathroom (as there are no facilities in the area) and since we needed a caffeine boost anyways we ordered a chai and coffee. The place was very busy, and the bathrooms might need a bit more attention (but given the area and how many customers come through it might have been difficult to find a time to do a clean)."

"I love the chai latte. And the cakes are gorgeous. Why not 5 stars? Three reasons: 1. It's rather pricey. 2. The bathroom (of which there is only one, so I hope you're not in a hurry) is pitiful. 3. It can get so crowded that finding a table can be daunting."

"Fantastic experience. The food was outstanding. Plenty to offer on the menu. Drinks menu was great, particularly the themed tastings. (However, was a bit disappointed that beer came in bottles). Ambiance was lovely, not too formal, but this is a nice place. The service was great. Friendly, quick, and they knew what they were talking about. Fair amount of seating downstairs and up, but I would make a booking ahead of time. I enjoyed it and will be back."

"Well, not quite the best. I'd like to contradict the previous reviewer. Iyer's definitely is a nice place to be, there are some downsides to this venue though: First of all it's pretty cramped there; even if you're the only person inside, you might feel cramped due to the cheek by jowl tables and chairs. Once there are few more people, the place becomes crowded very easily. I claim, usually you don't want to stay there for very long, unless it's raining outside. Apart from this Iyer's is more or less alright. The food seems to me slightly overpriced, since the portions aren't generous at all, but it looks keen and tastes good. After all the venue is clean and bright and the staff is friendly and helpful. Go there if you want to experience decent Indian food, but don't go there if you are really hungry or if you want to stay for longer. There are not many alternatives in Cork, that's true, but you still can do better."
