"We went to this place upon recommendation from a family member. The restaurant was easy to find. It is in a nice location. Plenty of parking option. Parking for Special friends are right next to the restaurant and the ramp is easy to go up. Inside it is spacious to move a wheel chair. Food was ok. I was disappointed with the appetizers. We chose some chaat. But it had no zing. My papri chat had no tamarind sauce or mint sauce inside. Whatever was on the top. I was shocked to see this. And it did not taste good at all. I requested for some hot spice and they gave me something that was just not what I asked for. The dahi puri was ok. We took 2 more chaat and they were just ok. We also had the chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, chicken karahi, tandoori roti and nan. Well the roti and nan tasted the same. Nan had no fluffiness and roti was too dry. Butter chicken and tandoori chicken literally tasted the same. Butter chicken had a sweet flavor while the chicken tikka masala had a sour flavor. We ordered lassi and gulab jamun. They tasted good. Restaurant is overall clean and tidy. Utensil and cutlery’s were good. Bathroom was clean too. I like the fact that there is two separate bathroom man and woman. The restaurant is spacious enough for wheel chair friends. They can easily move around. I did not like the staff. The lady in the front was very cold. She did not have a welcoming vibe which I thought was sad for a food business. My family member said a year ago when they came the lady had a positive vibe. I hope everything is going well in her personal life. The staff that brought food acted un the same manner. Moreover, when we were done eating and finishing the hot tea nobody came to pick up the dirty dishes. It stayed in the table just like that. The staff seemed very much uninterested and unmotivated to do anything. I personally don’t like to go to places like this."

"Halcyon provides a Great Atmosphere, very earthy, and beautiful Scenery. Halcyon is pet friendly and has dog bowls available. If you are looking for a place to study, this is s excellent spot. Menu options are fantastic, and if you happen to be vegetarian;or vegan, They have various choices as well as drinks. I'm the biggest fan of their chai latte; with oat milk. The service isspot on, as well as the attitude. There are also games to play if they're with a group of friends."

"Fantastic! Held a family memorial there; everything was just perfect. Owner Alex is very kind, personable, and after speaking with him on the phone about our event I hung up knowing that was going to be the right place for us. We created the menu which was beautifully typed up and placed for each guest. Beautiful roses were on every table in the restaurant; adding to the elegance of the room. We used the TV to display our pictures and had a large table for personal items to display. The food was absolutely delicious, shish kabobs, hummus (that is a must! , and calamari was devoured by our guests. He and his family were very attentive and gracious; this is a hidden gem. Definitely want to go back to watch the entertainment, and enjoy more delicious, fresh, homemade cuisine!"

"I was staying at Magnolia and had no idea that this place was attached until I got there! I'm surprised at how reasonably priced everything is. I don't go to cafes often but I think it's comparable in price or cheaper than Starbucks. One morning we got a cinnamon roll and a Belgian waffle. I got a strawberry coconut smoothie and my spouse got a vanilla bean frappe (which they loved so much they got a bigger one the next morning). The next day we got a chocolate croissant and a Nutella turnover. I think each of the pastries was about $2.50? So not bad pricing. The second morning I got a hot caramel apple cider, which was delicious but all the caramel went to the bottom of the cup ? Anyway this place is dog friendly and they even have a jar of treats at the front The workers are all super nice and friendly, even the ones we ran into on the Magnolia elevator were sweet."

"I recently encountered an incredibly disheartening and discriminatory experience at Parliament Bar, which has left me feeling both disappointed and frustrated. It is with a heavy heart that I share my encounter, hoping that this review will shed light on the unacceptable treatment I faced and encourage the necessary changes to be made.As an individual of African descent, I was appalled to find that I was denied entry into Parliament Bar solely based on the color of my skin and the way I was dressed. Despite observing that other individuals, dressed similarly to me, were allowed inside, I was unfairly targeted and prevented from experiencing what this establishment had to offer. This blatant racial discrimination is not only morally wrong but also legally reprehensible.The fact that Parliament Bar allows such discriminatory practices to persist is deeply troubling. No person should ever be denied entry or be subjected to mistreatment due to their race or appearance. Discrimination in any form has no place in our society, let alone within a supposedly inclusive and welcoming establishment.Regrettably, I cannot comment on the quality of the ambiance, service, or the overall experience within the bar, as I was denied the opportunity to step foot inside. However, it is evident that an establishment that engages in such discriminatory behavior, even at the entrance, is not a place to be frequented or supported."
