"This is one of our favorite places in Vienna. Today though we've had the worst experience there so far. We were understanding when it came to the VERY slow service as the restaurant had just opened after the winter break. We also understood that customers...at table next to us got their order in a very short time (as they were only 4 guests, we were 6 and they were apparently some high profile local public persons . When we flipped it was because one of the waiters, when we politely requested for a new table cloth (as one of our kids accidentally spilled her drink said that table cloth is not mandatory to be provided. We considered that unacceptable (our main waiter appologized though . I later witnessed the waiter that made the unpolite remark putting his shoe next to the register and lacing it!!! (Literally 2 cm away from the aluminium wrap which they use for the doggie bags! . This is again, at least for me, unacceptable in the gastronomy industry. And this was DIGLAS."

"When they moved to a bigger, fancier location to have a 'proper' restaurant (not only a buffet in the supermarket) i got the feeling they are a bit lost - between a good old simplicity, and a desire to change to smth bigger. Still, it is a nice place for a lunch or dinner, with a number of traditional Indian dishes to chose from. Prices are fair, although I wouldn't say it's cheap. There is a slight variability in dishes, I guess depending on the cook, so sometimes it's ok for me and sometimes it's great :) All in all, a nice option for a quick proper Indian meal in Vienna."
