"Service and food seems to have slipped a little since my last visit. The restaurant was also less full than before. Prices have increased by a large percentage, perhaps the reason people feel the value for money is no longer there."

"I was really excited to try this place because of all the great reviews. I wanted the tofu scramble from the breakfast menu with bread and the gentlemen (I think the owner) suggested rather having it in a wrap. I accepted his suggestion only to see on the bill it cost an additional R40 and when I queried why he told me it’s the tofu wrap from the lunch menu. An additional R9 was also charged on top of the change to the tofu wrap? He did change the bill to what I had originally ordered for (scramble tofu and a flax bread roll). The tofu wrap was average and lacking in flavour. I did get a chili sauce which made it better. We also had the ice cream stack. It was also sadly average. I would have thought the pancakes would be warm with the ice cream but they were cold. I was sad they didn’t serve coffee. It only has 1 large table so everyone sits together I wouldn’t imagine here is the place to meet for meetings or any personal talks that you want privacy."

"26 aug 2022 the best food in the city! good value for money. we had the kindest and friendly waitress. her name is noma. I asked for a dish of 2 different items on the menu. I went away there in a very good mood! I'll go back as soon as I can!"

"This place I would recommend over and over again....we called to see if we could arrive after their function and they said yes....we got there but unfortunately their gas stopped working...Linda the manager felt bad and gave me and my Hubby a glass of wine to apologize....a few minutes later they said they can see if they can try make their chicken wrapped with bacon and stuffed mozzarella pesto....and they managed to get one out which is big enough to share...we got treated like gold and the food tastes great and would go back in a heart beat"

"Vida e Caffe is a quick stop outlet, when you are desperate for that cup of coffee comfort. Take note that this outlet isn't a huge one and that seating is limited and people mostly come here to grab a coffee to go. The vibe in this little place is electric and smiles all round. I love this little place as they have ready made food items available that saves a lot of time when popping in. This is my pitstop when I visit Rosebank for my favourite cuppa! Go! Now!"
